Is PHP case sensitive?
The answer
Partly. The PHP manual states that variable names are case-sensitive, so a name in capitals and the same name in small letters are two different variables. Keywords and function names are generally not case-sensitive, so calling a function with different capitals usually still works, although the manual advises using the casing used in the declaration. The safest habit is to write every name in one consistent style throughout your project.
