Class

Meaning

A class is a blueprint that describes the properties and methods that objects of a certain kind will have. A class called Student could describe a name and a roll number as properties and a method that reports a grade, and each real student is then an object built from it. Properties and methods can be public, protected or private, which controls who may use them. Classes are the basis of object oriented PHP and of every major framework.
